On the wall above the levers there is a large diagram depicting the track layout as it was until the turn of the millennium. Each line represents one track. The track grid at the lower edge of the diagram was known as the "Magdeburg side" of the station, as this was where trains to and from Stendal, Salzwedel and Magdeburg used to run.
