Alongside the exhaust pipe of the emergency power generator is a piece of contemporary history of more recent date. From the graffiti seen here, one recognises the frustration of the years immediately following the fall of the wall. It's possible that it was the forthcoming closure of the motive power depot in 2006 which prompted the "artist" to give vent to his feelings.
